Having qualified from Peninsula College of Medicine and Dentistry in Plymouth in 2012, Sonal has continued to further her dental education. She completed her MJDF (Membership of the Joint Dental Faculties) and is a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons. Following this she spent two years working in Derby and Romford hospitals as an SHO in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Completing my DCT1 & DCT2 posts here allowed me to gain further experience and skills, in particular, in surgical and complex dental extractions, as well as recognising oral and skin cancers.
